Samarripa, Juan M.

Entered Eternal Life on September 16, 2017 at the age of 86 to join his wife Leonor Samarripa. Juan is the Son of Eduardo and Eulalia Samarripa, survived by four siblings Alejandro, Gregorio, Esther and Olivia Samarripa. Survived by children Rosa (Jose) Ramirez, Nora Romero, Sylvia (Regulo) Ruiz, Johnny (Kathy) Samarripa, Edwardo (Stephanie) Samarripa further survived by his grandchildren Jose Ramirez, Leticia Ramirez, Homero Ramirez, Sonya Samarripa, Laura Garcia, Arcelia Vega, Jose Romero, Rey Ruiz, Omaero Ruiz, Miguel Ruiz, Rosalinda Samarripa, Nazzario Garcia and Juan Edwardo Samarripa Jr. along with 29 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandson. Further survived by many relatives and friends.

Juan Samarripa was a proud war Veteran in the Korean War, Sargent in the 82nd Infantry serving from 1950 to 1953. Juan retired from Aluminum Casting, employed for over 20 years. Juan was a family man, proud of his BIG family, loved parties, his grand and great grandchildren (everyone got popsicles and candy) and was a big fan of his American Team the Dallas Cowboys! Juan was loved by many family and friends.

Services are Thursday September 21st at Prince of Peace Church 1138 S. 25th St.

Visitation 10 am. Mass service 12pm followed by a Procession to St Adalbert’s Cemetery. 

Flowers can be delivered to the church as of 9 am on 9/21 Procession to St. Adalbert Cemetery to follow
